In order to consolidate and develop the comprehensive partnership between China and Latin America, the Ministry of Culture launched the “Mutual Translation Project of Philosophical and Cultural Classic Works from China and Latin America” (hereinafter referred to as “the project”) in 2016, and authorized Chinese Culture Translation & Studies Support Research Center, also known as the “Chinese Culture Translation and Studies Support Network(CCTSS)”, to act as the secretariat of the project. In accordance with applicable requirements and procedures, the secretariat receives 75 literary and cinematic applications recommended by different domains of society. Following an initial appraisal, a final judgement by a team of delegated experts, and the approval of the Ministry of Culture's Bureau of External Relations, 10 works have been confirmed as the supported works for the stage I of the project. We hereby release the list of the 10 works to the public for their consideration.
